Advanced CO₂ Laser Machine Inaugurated at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad

We are proud to announce the successful inauguration of the Advanced CO₂ Laser Machine at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. This state-of-the-art Rs 2 Crore machine was officially dedicated to the public at the hospital's ENT department.

The inauguration was graced by the Hon'ble Minister of State for Urban Development, Smt. Darshanaben Vaghela, and Member of Parliament Shri Dineshbhai Makwana. The project was successfully implemented through the dedicated efforts of the R.K. HIV & AIDS Research & Care Centre (NGO) with CSR funding support from the Airport Authority of India (AAI).

According to Civil Hospital Superintendent Dr. Rakesh Joshi, this advanced technology will make complex surgeries related to throat cancer, tumors, and the voice box significantly safer and more precise. Patients will benefit from reduced bleeding, minimal pain, and faster recovery times.

This installation ensures that poor and middle-class patients will now have access to world-class, highly expensive laser treatments entirely free of cost at the government facility.
